Warmth that gets under the skin?

Warmth makes us feel comfortable in our skin. Thanks to cold and heat sensors, this signals even the smallest differences in the ambient temperature and makes us really appreciate warmth, especially in cooler environments. This phenomenon can easily be observed in the attraction of a campfire. It magnetically draws people close to it.
But you don't need a big fire to warm yourself. Our SPIN table fire has been proven to provide just this feel-good effect on the skin, because it radiates pleasant warmth from the first minute and can even be used indoors.
How exactly the heat output of our bioethanol table fires behaves and You can find out why air humidity plays a significant role in the following article.

Why is heat important for us?

Heat is considered one of the oldest remedies. Its gently calming and relaxing effect on the body is well known. At the same time, heat is considered to stimulate metabolic processes, blood circulation and the immune system. Deeply anchored in us, we associate it with a feeling of security, safety and well-being.
The most important source of heat for all life on earth is the sun and especially in the seasons when it warms us less, we look for alternatives. There is a whole range of natural objects and technical devices, each of which differs in its thermal output.

---

What does heat output mean?

Heat is the energy transferred between two systems due to different temperatures. Their power is measured in watts. The higher the watt number, the more power, the more heat is given off every second.
However, in order to be able to give off heat, energy must first be supplied to the heat source. In the case of fire, the energy of the fuel (e.g. candle wax, wood, coal, bioethanol) is converted into heat and light and released into the environment. The power varies considerably and starts at 35 W for a tea light, which warms minimally. The SPIN table fire, on the other hand, emits up to 2500 W (when using höfats bioethanol fuel gel) and therefore ensures pleasant warmth from the first minute.

What do we perceive as warm?

It is well known that when the temperature rises, we feel more heat. The temperature is not only crucial for the perceived warmth and the associated feel-good factor, but also the humidity. A sauna infusion clearly illustrates how a sudden increase in humidity catapults the perceived warmth.
The same effect also occurs at lower room temperatures, i.e. increased humidity can lead to the air being perceived as even warmer and more pleasant as the following graphic illustrates.

Radiates pleasant warmth

Fire has captivated people since ancient times. With SPIN you can enjoy a unique play of flames and cozy warmth. Completely safe and wherever you want. Feel the pleasant rays of the swirling flames on your skin and make long evenings really comfortable: indoors, on the balcony, on the terrace or in the garden!
The area marked in yellow indicates the feel-good area for the feeling of warmth. It shows that even a small increase in temperature and humidity thanks to the SPIN table fire can achieve the same feel-good factor that would require a significantly higher temperature increase with lower humidity. Conversely, this means: Heating is not everything, it is more important to find the right combination of temperature and humidity!

SPIN table fire for your room climate

Especially in cooler seasons, we also suffer physically from low indoor humidity. When you use the SPIN, the bioethanol combustion process releases a small amount of water vapor, which increases the humidity in the room. As we now know, the heat radiated by SPIN is perceived as even more beneficial thanks to the increased humidity. Combined with regular ventilation of the room, you can ensure an overall comfortable room climate with our bioethanol table fire without any electricity.

Bioethanol as a clean and effective fuel

The calorific value of the respective fuel is just as important as the heat output. This indicates how much heat is released when 1kg of the substance is completely burned, since part of the energy is required for the combustion process itself or is given off in the form of light and cannot be completely converted into heat.
SPIN Table fire is powered exclusively with höfat's natural bioethanol, which has an extremely high calorific value compared to other fuels. This means that when the same amount of bioethanol is burned, significantly more heat is given off compared to other fuels.
There are countless bioethanol products on the market and we can therefore only speak of our höfats bioethanol fuel gel, which is a safety fuel gel is classified and burns with absolutely no odor or soot. In order to protect our health and the climate, our goal is to keep the environmental impact of burning fuels as low as possible. Our bioethanol is made exclusively from renewable raw materials, which means that burning it is climate-neutral and also ensures the continued existence of the energy source. So that the SPIN flame can warm us forever.
